About bazi.ltd
Last updated: September 22, 2026
Rooted in tradition, connected through technology. bazi.ltd brings together a love of Chinese cultural studies, more than twenty years of software industry experience, and practical knowledge of AI to make traditional ideas clearer and more accessible today.
Beginning with a personal passion
bazi.ltd grew from its founder’s longstanding interest in Chinese culture and ongoing exploration of technology as a software developer. As an enthusiast who has learned within a tradition passed down through teaching, I continue to explore the cultural ideas behind yin and yang, the Five Elements, and cycles of time. This platform began with a wish to share what I have learned in a way that connects with everyday life.
A living tradition, a continuing education
For me, receiving traditional teachings is both a valued opportunity to learn and a responsibility to approach each interpretation with care. We respect traditional frameworks, their texts and cultural context, while remaining open to different schools of thought. Through ongoing study, we aim to make BaZi and Chinese naming easier to understand, sharing the reasoning behind an interpretation as well as the reading itself.
Over twenty years in software, connecting tradition and AI
I bring more than twenty years of software industry experience and an in-depth understanding of AI and its applications. That background has shaped how I approach complex questions, attend to details, and improve products through iteration. At bazi.ltd, we aim to combine traditional knowledge, software engineering methods, and AI’s ability to organize and explain information. We recognize AI’s limitations and continue refining our content and product so that technology supports understanding.
Bringing exploration back to everyday life
From Chinese naming to Destiny Books, we offer a perspective for exploring yourself and Chinese culture. Traditional readings reflect cultural frameworks; they are not scientific conclusions or guarantees about the future. Life is shaped by circumstances, choices, and actions. We hope to help you reflect on the present, discover useful questions, and move forward with your own judgment. Sharing sincerely, explaining clearly, and building with care are commitments we intend to keep.
